LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The state’s Cannabis Regulatory Agency will ban a diluting agent used in vapes starting October 1.

The vape pens will have to be tested starting that day for MCT oil before they can be sold.

CRA executive director Brian Hanna says “the potential for adverse effects with MCT oil underscores the importance of safety guidelines for product development.” Colorado banned MCT oil in marijuana products in 2019.
