Over the years, the Pickers have encountered a plethora of “rusty gold,” yet their excitement remains undiminished as they hope to stumble upon never-before-seen marvels.

Their quest isn’t just about unearthing valuable antiques though; it’s a journey to unearth the stories behind them and the characters who collect them. Michigan, no doubt, will offer the Pickers some interesting characters along their journey.

The characters on the show itself, now in it’s 25th season after premiering in January of 2010, include Mike Wolfe, his younger brother, Robbie, and their friend and antique expert “Jersey Jon” Szalay, who check out the treasures from house to house, to barn, to shed, to basement, to garage… Also on the show is Danielle Colby who runs the office at Mike’s business, Antique Archaeology.

Invitation to Michigan collectors.

In an effort to uncover hidden treasures in the Great Lakes State, American Pickers is inviting individuals with unique collections and compelling stories to step forward. Whether it’s a rare find tucked away in a barn or a family heirloom with a tale to tell, the team is eager to hear from Michiganders.

The Pickers buy items for resale, for clients and their own personal collections. Mike, who has been “picking” since the age of four, has a special interest in motorcycles, air- cooled Volkswagens, old bikes and penny-farthings (high wheel bicycles).

The Pickers are specifically interested in private collections, emphasizing that they do not visit stores, flea markets, or public venues. If you believe your treasures fit the bill, reach out to them via email at americanpickers@cineflix.com or by phone at (646) 493-2184. Include your name, contact information, location, and a description of your collection, supplemented by photographs.
