A judge set Moore’s bond at $100,000 cash with house arrest and a GPS tether if he posts bond. Two other suspects in Saturday’s shooting are being held by police in connection with a March police chase. That resulted in several charges, including carrying concealed weapons. Both men’s bonds have been revoked.
Reckling died on Saturday while tracking a stolen car on Detroit’s east side. Officials called the shooting of the nine-year veteran of the department “an ambush.”
Reckling will be laid to rest on Friday. He is survived by his pregnant wife, Jacqueline, and their three children.
