ANN ARBOR, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Protestors screamed at Gov. Gretchen Whitmer in a restaurant over the weekend while she celebrated her daughter’s graduation from college.

It’s a tough spot for Gov. Whitmer. She and her party risk losing the sizeable Arab-American vote in Michigan, which would keep President Joe Biden from winning the state’s 15 electoral votes in the November election. Pro-Palestinian agitators have increasing become loud and violent on college campuses and at other events in the past month.

The growing antisemitic rallies at the University of Michigan, Michigan State University, and elsewhere appear to reflect Michigan Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib. She’s the only Palestinian member of Congress and has refused to condemn the Hamas terrorist attacks on Israelis on October 7. Last week, she addressed free speech rights on the House floor.

Meanwhile, the internet did not hold back, calling the protestors’ appearance at Whitmer’s family gathering “karma” for her strict lockdowns four years ago. Last year, she said in an interview with CNN, “We had to make some decisions, that in retrospect, don’t make a lot of sense.”
