DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is no stranger to using swear words like “hell” and “damn” on her official letterhead or social media. Now she’s calling the NFL draft in Detroit a “BFD.” (For those of you unsure about what this stands for, ask a teenager you know.)

Professional football has proven to be good for Detroit. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said more than 257,000 fans attended Day 1 of the NFL Draft. That number set an all-time high for the number of fans attending on the first day.
