DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – In an effort to spruce up Detroit for the April 25-27 NFL Draft, the city is spending $425,000 on a Hollywood-style sign along with five other billboard style signs.

The “D-E-T-R-O-I-T” sign, created by workers at Fairmont Sign, is made up of 8-foot tall letters. It’s now up on eastbound I-94 between Central and Cecil avenues. The other signs welcoming people to the Motor City will be at various spots along I-96 and I-75.
