Whitmer, who is no stranger to using “hell” and damn” in official government press releases and campaigns, said “In this moment, our world is thirsty for compassion, empathy, big ideas and the grit to get shit done,” Whitmer said in a statement.
This winter, Whitmer appeared to casually dismiss a report about a potential book release calling a Page Six report “not accurate.”
Books are sometimes a precursor to national political campaigns, including running for president. Whitmer, who is co-chair of President Joe Biden’s reelection committee, has said she has her “dream job” governing Michigan and has no plans to run for president.
