LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Gov. Gretchen Whitmer posted a video on social media on Sunday for Transgender Day of Visibility, which happens to land on Easter Sunday this year. She told the transgender community “I see you” and “I’ve got your back.”

Earlier this month, Gov. Whitmer made a video acknowledging the month of Ramadan.

On Good Friday, Gov. Whitmer announced that she attended a fish fry dinner with the AFL-CIO. On Sunday, she wished Michiganders a “Hoppy” Easter, saying she hoped Sunday would provide an “opportunity to spend time with friends and family.”
