GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – More than $1 million in funding is coming to Grand Rapids to install electric vehicle charging stations.
The $1.1 million comes from the Michigan Infrastructure Office and Michigan Department of Transportation as part of the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Formula Program.

Officials say two locations in Grand Rapids, located on the I-96 and I-196 corridors, will receive the funds to build the charging stations.
