DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – The Detroit Lions and its tongue-in-cheek history of being the team who can “snatch defeat from the jaws of victory” faded into the background Thursday night in their season opener win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
The win is an extra feather in the cap of Lions fans who say the 2023-24 season is the one where Detroit could make its debut in the Super Bowl.

1-0 baby! Now let’s get to the playoffs and prove to everyone what we know we can do. LFG LIONS, I love this team!

However, not everyone is ready to celebrate just yet. Some fans called it a “fluke” and warned there’s a long season ahead.
That game was more about how bad the Chiefs are right now, not how good the Lions are
