LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – For people who would prefer to leave fireworks out of their July 4th celebration, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has released a list of 10 parks across the state that will offer “fireworks free” camping.

Officials say the program is designed to allow for a quieter place for veterans, pet owners, and other visitors to enjoy camping without being near the displays.
