WASHINGTON (Michigan News Source) – Monday marked a special day for the Ferris State University football program as they traveled to the White House in Washington, D.C. to meet the President of the United States. The White House has invited national championship programs from NCAA Division I, II, III to a celebration of College Athlete Day.
FSU received the invitation from President Biden and First Lady Jill Biden and will send a group of about 25 student-athletes along with head coach Tony Annese and select staff to Washington. They will leave on Monday morning with the ceremony taking place on the South Lawn.

This will be the second time the back-to-back national champions have been recognized as the State of Michigan recognized the team in March at the State Capital in Lansing.
FSU is 55-3 over the last three seasons and is the preseason #1 team headed into the 2023 season by Lindy’s Sports.
