These two sites will join more than a dozen designated sites in Northern Michigan that are historical links to the life of Ernest Hemingway and his love of Michigan. This love shaped the vision in many of his writings.

Hemingway, at the age of 3 months, started visiting Michigan every summer with his family. They bought a home on the North Shore of Walloon Lake.
