DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – Pittsburgh scored three goals in the first 32 minutes of the game taking control of their own post season fate topping Detroit, 5-1. Pittsburgh scored two in the first with their third coming at 11:16 in the second.

Detroit’s goal came at 11:58 in the second period by Pius Suter which was his 14th goal of the year.

Pittsburgh went on to score two more goals in the third period for the 5-2 final.

Ville Husso had 23 saves as Detroit is now 35-34-10 with 80 points. Their final home game is on Monday night against Dallas.
