ANN ARBOR, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Running back Jordan Marshall, the no. 9 recruit in Ohio and no. 198 prospect according to ESPN, has committed to Jim Harbaugh and the University of Michigan. It is the third Ohio prospect making the decision to come north for the 2024 class including ESPN 300 offensive tackle Luke Hamilton(Avon, Ohio) and defensive tackle Ted Hammond (Cincinnati, Ohio).

Jordan is coming out of Cincinnati Moeller High School and is 5’11’ and 195 pounds. He commented on his twitter account, “Some of my friends are big O-State fans and so is my Papa. But he’s going to start rooting for Michigan.”

According to On3 websites and Hayes Fawcett story, Marshall commits why he chose Michigan say, “Family was the biggest thing for me. Being with coach Hart’s family and meeting them really meant a lot for me. See how much his family means to him and him knowing what family means to me. Also, just the community and culture there. It feels like home every time I step into that building and it’s a freaking amazing place. Last one they WIN. I’m trying to play for a national championships. Not just Big 10 Champs. But world champions.”

He then adds about the University of Michigan saying, “They have one of the best institutions in the world and I take pride in that and know I have to have a plan after football. I think Michigan gives me the best opportunity.”

Marshall has one more year at Moeller and was a Mr. Ohio finalist in 2022. He rushed for 1,961 yards and 30 touchdowns.
