DETROIT, Mich. (Michigan News Source)- The struggles continued for Detroit on the road as they dropped to 16-58 and are now just 7-29 on the road which is the worst mark in the Eastern Conference falling to Toronto, 118-97. Detroit shot just 24 percent from the three-point line, was out rebounded, and had 22 turnovers.
“I feel like our effort was horrible tonight. We’ve just got to have more effort. We have to look ourselves in the mirror and say ‘Is our spirit there?’ That’s the most important thing when you step out there on the floor,” said Jaden Ivey.

Ivey led the team with 20 points and eight assists as Marvin Bagley III had 14 points and nine rebounds and James Wiseman added 14 points.
Detroit started out trailing from the beginning down by 10 points, 17-7, not even halfway through the first period. Toronto took a 12-point lead at the end of the first, 38-26, and moved it to a 20-point lead at halftime, 72-52. Detroit outscored Toronto, 21-20, in the third period but couldn’t make up the deficit created in the first half as they fell, 118-97.
