LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Lansing Community College has canceled classes and events until Friday in response to a “cybersecurity incident.” The college’s social media warns employees and students alike: “Do not attempt to come to campus or use any LLC equipment.”
There is no indication that personal or financial information has been compromised, according to the college. Employees are asked to refrain from working until the situation is resolved. All classes are canceled through Friday with the exception of Police and Fire academies and Aviation Maintenance courses.

“Please know we are working to investigate this as quickly as possible,” LCC tweeted. “We have also brought in our partners from the FBI, our cyber insurance response team, and the Michigan Cyber Command Center.”
College officials are promising an update on Thursday afternoon by 4 PM.
