LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source)- A Caledonia mom of a visually impaired child is frustrated by the individualized education program at Caledonia Community Schools. Brianna DeKuiper says she has asked Paris Ridge Elementary for accommodations, including access to a Braille teacher, but little has been done. School officials say they brought in a specialist for visually impaired students but were not aware of the request for Braille lessons. Superintendent Dr. Dedrick Martin says the school will do its best to find a solution.
