ANN ARBOR, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Greg Pace, Jr. earned his first-ever career award at the University of Michigan helping the Wolverines to two wins over Cal State Fullerton. Michigan played two games against one of the top West Coast programs winning, 9-5, and 7-3, to improve to 4-2 on the year.
In game one, Pace, Jr., had a three-run home run that put Michigan in front, 4-1, in the fourth inning. He then scored in the eighth inning for a 7-2 lead. The second game brought a triple and a run scored in the four-run win. In the two games, he had two hits, three runs, and three RBI with a stolen base.
He is the first Big Ten Freshman of the Week for Michigan since Steven Hajjar won it in 2020.
