LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – It would seem to some places in Michigan have not seen that much snow this year. However, that depends on where you live.

Some areas of the Upper Peninsula have seen more than 100 inches of snow while the southeast corner of lower Michigan has experienced 10 inches or less.

Grand Rapids is more than 31 inches above normal for this time over year. Sault Ste. Marie is just under 30 inches over.

By contrast, Ann Arbor is 10 inches below normal and Muskegon is more than 15 inches below normal.

Meteorologists say there are signs February will be snowy.
