ANN ARBOR, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Jim Harbaugh will remain the head football coach at the University of Michigan in 2023.
University president Santa Ono tweeted on Monday that Harbaugh told him the “great news,” and he has shared it with athletic director Warde Manuel.
Coach Harbaugh had spoken with the Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos in the NFL about their head coach openings.
Contract details are still being worked out. The deal is expected to close the door on future NFL interest.
