DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – Comerica Park will be more hitter-friendly this season.
The Detroit Tigers are lowering the outfield wall and bringing it ten-feet closer to home plate in center field.

The wall will be seven-feet high all around the park from its current eight-and-a-half feet in right and center field and down from 13-feet in right-center field.
Tigers’ president of baseball operations Scott Harris says they are trying to “strike the right balance.”
Fifty seats will be removed in right field due to the changes.
