DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – Bojan Bogdanovic scored 33 points on six three pointers and going 11-of-15 from the floor but Detroit didn’t have enough offensive power to keep up with former NBA Champions Milwaukee Bucks, 150-130. Five players scored in double figures but the Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo (29 points) and Brook Lopez (21 points) combined for 50 points as the team shot 56 percent from the floor.
After Bogdanovic’s 33 points, Jalen Duren added 23 points and Saddiq Bey gave 21 points as Jaden Ivey posted a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Hamidou Diallo then had 11 points.

Milwaukee led from the beginning taking a 14-4 lead in the first three minutes of the game. Diallo put Detroit into double digits with 6:12 left in the first period as they trailed, 31-10. Milwaukee went on for a 49-24 lead at the end of the first and had an 83-55 lead at the half. Detroit did out score Milwaukee in the fourth quarter, 38-35, and had a 20-7 run in the final four and half minutes to cut the lead to 20, 150-130, to end the game.
Detroit will next play on Thursday night when they host New Jersey at 7:30 p.m.
