ANN ARBOR, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Jim Harbaugh’s success the past two seasons has led to more exposure nationally going to two College Football Playoffs. This year, Michigan is ranked no. 2 in the nation and a chance to win the national championship. With all that success, recruiting top-50 players has become a little easier than five years ago and they now have their first commitment for the 2025 class. Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade Madonna four-star cornerback Chris Ewald has verbally pledged to Michigan. The 6-foot, 160 pound athlete announced on Twitter that he will be coming to Michigan.
He is the no. 38 overall prospect in the nation and no. 3 cornerback according to 247Sports Composite. He helped Chaminade Madonna to a Florida State Championship this year finishing with 24 tackles, four interceptions and 12 pass break ups. He was offered by Michigan in August 2021.
