OXFORD, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A group of Oxford High School shooting survivors are traveling to Uvalde, Texas next week in an effort to comfort that community after their elementary school shooting this year. Zoe Touray launched the initiative to unite survivors of the attacks after attending a rally in Austin, Texas.
Touray is taking 20 other survivors, teachers, and parents to Uvalde on November 19.
The Oxford community is bringing games, crafts, food, therapy dogs, and blankets that they have been making over the past few months, to bring comfort to the Robb Elementary students and families.
