MARQUETTE, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Northern Michigan University in Marquette is hosting a community and campus reception on Tuesday so the public can meet the new NMU President, Dr. Brock Tessman.
Tessman, who grew up in Plymouth, will officially become NMU’s 17th president on February 1. In September, the board unanimously accepted Tessman as the next president.

Tuesday’s reception will be held in ballrooms III and IV in the Northern Center from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. In addition, it will feature appearances by the NMU Marching Band and the NMU Jazz Combo.
