DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – The Detroit Zoo, along with a pair of “closely bonded” penguins, is welcoming a baby penguin chick to their habitat.
The egg was laid at the Cincinnati Zoo and the chick hatched there in August. However, the Association of Zoos and Aquariums’ Species Survival Plan recommended the egg be transferred to Detroit.
