TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The Traverse City Police Department is warning people, especially senior citizens, to please be aware of scams. Officials say a 91-year-old Traverse City man is out nearly $77,000.

The victim was using his computer when a message, claiming to be from Microsoft, popped up on the screen.  The message stated child pornography had been detected on the computer and gave him a number to call.
