LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Michigan State Police (MSP) want to remind residents that today is “National Prescription Drug Take Back Day”.
MSP troopers are encouraging people to drop off expired medications, or ones that are no longer used, in collection boxes located at posts statewide. Then, troopers will dispose of the medications properly.

They want to remind residents that throwing unused pills in the trash is illegal and hazardous.
MSP will accept the pills today from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
