LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The Michigan Department of Corrections is replacing the Macomb Correctional Facility warden as an internal investigation is ongoing.
George Stephenson was removed from his position on October 18, the same day one prisoner was killed and another injured in an incident at the prison.

A prison spokesman says Stephenson has not been fired and is not part of a police investigation.
