EAST LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – With a record crowd of 3,022 at the DeMartin Stadium on the campus of Michigan State University, the Spartans showed why they are still undefeated in the Big Ten at 5-0-1 and 10-1-3 overall. Scoring a goal in each period, MSU won 2-0 to stay undefeated in conference play.
“First off, I want to thank the fans for showing up,” says forward Lauren DeBeau. “It was a noon game, and we had a great crowd. You could feel the energy throughout the stadium, and the team stuck to the game plan. We kept possession of the ball and go into scoring opportunities. Everyone worked hard offensively and defensively, so I couldn’t be more proud of the team.”
