The Board of Trustees held a special meeting after MSU President Samuel L. Stanley announced his resignation earlier this month. Stanley said he lost confidence in the Board and could no longer continue to serve in good conscience. On October 13, Stanley gave the school a 90-day notice.
The Board accepted Stanley’s resignation on Monday.
