LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A combination of inflation, avian flu, the pandemic and bad luck will make this year’s Thanksgiving celebrations more expensive.
According to officials, estimates show a large turkey shortage with prices going up to twice as much as last year.

Officials say it’s a a result of multiple factors, including the turkey prices crash of 2019 along with the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, current inflation and the avian flu did not help matters.
Experts think most people who want a turkey should still be able to get them. However, you might have to settle for one that’s bigger or smaller than your ideal size.
