JACKSON, Mich. (Michigan News Source) –  Jackson High School is now home to an $11 million athletic center, courtesy of a generous alum.

The facility boasts a 60-yard field striped for football, as well as spaces for baseball and softball. The area is built with a shock pad to reduce the chance of concussion. It also includes a track space, an advanced lighting system, and a weight room.

This space is funded by Jackson High School alum Al Glick, his family and his foundation. Glick died earlier this year, but he worked side-by-side with the school to make this place a reality.
