WEBBERVILLE, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Choice Farm Market in Ingham County’s Webberville will reveal a new corn maze on Saturday that pays tribute to the long-lasting rivalry between the University of Michigan and Michigan State University.
From the air, the maze will exhibit the MSU Spartan mascot head and the University of Michigan’s block “M”, as well as the state of Michigan outline. The Choice Farm Market owners hired a maze designer and drew insight from a Green Bay Packers versus Chicago Bears corn maze.

There is a 10.5 acre maze and a 1.5 mini maze for kids. The farm’s announcement has garnered much online support.
“While you guys are here checking out our corn maze, we’re going to have some concessions available. We’re going to offer some cotton candy, bottled water, and different flavors of popcorn. We’re going to have out Benjamin Beef offered in different beef sticks here as well as licorice and a couple of other options,” one employee of Choice Farm Market said.
Todd and Loretta Benjamin, co-owners of the Choice Farm Market, know many graduates of the two universities in the area and thought it would be a fun addition to the farm.
Loretta hopes that its relatively close proximity – 45 miles to Ann Arbor and 23 miles from East Lansing – will help attract Spartans and Wolverines alike.
The farm is cash only, but kids four and under will have free entry. The smaller maze will cost $5, while the larger maze will cost $8. Choice Farm Market offers a free hayride from the parking lot to the corn maze.
“The corn maze and the pumpkin patch is phase one,” Loretta said, adding that the farm will eventually have educational opportunities in its agritourism destination by August 2023.

The farm’s maze opens Saturday and will remain open from noon to 6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays until Oct. 30.
There will also be professional photographers to take free family photos in front of the sunflowers on the first day it opens, Sept. 17.
The maze is located at 4212 Holt Road in Webberville at the corner of M-52 and Holt Road.
