LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Tipping off on January 4, 2023, the Mid-American Conference has announced their conference schedule for 2022-23. The teams will play 18 games over nine weeks with nine home and nine away games. The MAC Women’s Basketball Tournament will take place from March 8-11 at Cleveland’s Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse.

Eastern Michigan, Central Michigan, and Western Michigan will all open up on January 4. Western Michigan will be the only Michigan tam on the road at regular season champion Toledo. Miami will travel to Eastern Michigan and Northern Illinois will go to Central Michigan.

Last season, Toledo won the regular season with a 19-1 record but Ball State took the tournament championship. Western Michigan was the only Michigan team to finish in the middle tier at 10-10. Eastern Michigan (4-16) and Central Michigan (2-18) were the bottom two teams in the MAC.
