GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – GOP gubernatorial frontrunner Tudor Dixon keeps growing her long list of endorsements, with Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich joining that list on Friday.

“Tudor is exactly who we need to replace Gretchen Whitmer, who is perhaps the worst governor in the country,” Gingrich said. “Tudor is tough — she comes from the steel industry — but she’s also compassionate. As a mother of four girls, she knows families are struggling to put food on the table, pay their bills, and ensure their children are learning what they need to become good citizens.”

In addition, Gingrich added, “Republicans in Michigan need Tudor as their nominee. She will be the conservative mom who contrasts perfectly with the radical far-left birthing person incumbent.”

Dixon will face off against Ryan Kelley, Ralph Rebandt, Kevin Rinke, and Garrett Soldano in Michigan’s primary election on August 2.
