GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Former President Donald Trump endorsed Republican Tudor Dixon to be Michigan’s next governor on Friday night, just three days ahead of the primary election.

In a statement, Trump labeled Dixon a “conservative warrior” and said she is ready to take on Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. Trump did not mince words, calling Whitmer, “one of the worst governors in the nation.”

When speaking of Dixon, Trump said, “Tudor Dixon will make a great governor and has my complete and total endorsement. She will not let you down.”

His endorsement came on the same day Michigan News Source and The Trafalgar Group released a poll showing Dixon with a sizeable lead heading into Tuesday’s primary election.
