Six of the 10 commitments are 4-star players with only one from the State of Michigan.

Brennan Parachek (Dexter, Mich.) is a 6-6 tight end that is the sixth best player in Michigan. Two more top five players in Michigan have the Spartans in their top three in defensive lineman Jalen Thompson (Cass Technical) of Detroit and offensive lineman Cole Dellinger from Clarkston.

Both players have a 4-star rating and could boost the class into the top 30 in the nation.

Johnathan Slack (Detroit, Mich.), a top 15 player in Michigan, is committed to MSU as the 13 best player in the state. The 3-star recruit will help out the offensive line.

This 2023 class could receive a jolt on July 7 when 4-star edge player Bai Job (Norman, Okla.) announces where he will play.

His final three are MSU, Oklahoma, and Alabama.
