Former Michigan State Spartan Draymond Green and former Michigan Wolverine Jordan Poole are NBA champions after the Golden State Warriors beat the Boston Celtics 103-90 in Game 6 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night in Boston.
The Warriors win the series 4 games to 2. It’s Green’s fourth NBA title of his career, it is Poole’s first NBA championship ring.
When Green and Poole were in college, both players helped their teams make the NCAA Final Four. Green helped the Spartans to the Final Four in 2009 and 2010. While Poole was a big part of Michigan’s run to the Final Four in 2018. His game-winning shot at the buzzer gave the Wolverines a stunning victory over Houston in the tournament’s second round in ’18.
