American Jennifer Kupcho outlasted fellow American Nelly Korda and Italy’s Leona Maguire in a playoff to win the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give at Blythefield CC in suburban Grand Rapids on Sunday afternoon.

Kupcho’s final round 71 got her into the playoff.  Kupcho missed an eagle putt on the first playoff hole that would’ve won it then.  But Maguire missed a short putt on the second playoff hole to hand the title to Kupcho.  It’s Jennifer’s second win of the year on the LPGA Tour.  She won the LPGA’s first major of the year, the Chevron Classic in California, back in early April.
