DETROIT (Great Lakes News) – Four former NBA players with Michigan ties are caught up in a health benefits scam.
Those four players are among 18 charged with defrauding the NBA’s health-benefit plan.
Former Michigan State University players Alan Anderson and Shannon Brown have been charged along with former Detroit Piston Will Bynum, and Detroit Cass Tech and Detroit Northwestern’s Chris Douglas-Roberts.

The four are accused of roughly $740,000 of fraud for fake claims for chiropractic services.
